I pretend like I know how to art.

Very quick environment painting. Trying out some different colors.
Finished this like two months ago. But I always forget to post things on here. Just a little environmental concept for a game.
Took a break from the bigger project I am working on to do something simple. I have been secretly trying to develop a character for a game. Not that I’ll be making it any time soon. But I have visions at least. I don’t think I’ll be sticking with this design, but I do like how this illustration came out.
I think I’m about done. Took a LOT longer than I expected, but I’m happy with it. I might even make some prints soon. ;) #art #drawing #illustration #prints #gaming #mario #videogames #nintendo #pixels #8-bit #8bit #photoshop #grunge #old #vintage #poster #pain

Finally got around to doing this. It’s the first Legend of Zelda with vamped up visuals!

I’ve wanted to do something like this for a while. I didn’t expect it to be so different from what I usually do, though. This style was super fun to work with! Though, not sure how much I’ll use it in the future. However, it works nicely with the setting I think.

Let me know what you think! And share it with your other nerds if you like! Thanks!

I hope you are all having a good day on this newest of years. I learned how to ink on paper and work it into to Photoshop without the lines turning out fuzzy. (Like they usually do.) This made the line art process go sooo much faster, and also made it a lot more enjoyable. I haven’t inked on paper in so long. Oh, how I have missed it. I think this is a fine illustration to start off 2014.

I have joined the “cool kid” army and made an Instagram! Give me a follow and teach me how to use it! Also, you look lovely today. <3

Oh, hi there! I recently collaborated with Chris Ayer (Air-City) and brought forth this piece of fan art. Chris sketched and inked the line work, and I colored it all in. You can view Chris’s original sketch here:
It was really fun working with someone else’s artwork for a change. I definitely need to do more of these.

I’ve had this as my icon for a while now, but I guess I forgot to actually upload it as a post. (Psst… if you want more frequent updates, you can “like” me on Facebook.) ;)

So I started this project a few days ago. I have began a quest to find myself, my style, and my nitch in the art world. How will I do this you ask? Well, from now until however long it takes for me to fill up this dang ass sketchbook, I will create a mini art piece every day. Experimenting with different mediums, styles, and just drawing things I’m not very component at. My hope is that my style will grow into something consistent. And that I learn lot’s along the way. There will be (and already have been) day’s where I have slacked off and just drawn something half assed, but even that helps with the growing process. :)
